Has anyone switched from an OB to a Midwife?

If there is a midwive you have in mind, I would call the office and talk with the receptionist and explain how you feel. They might tell you to stay with your ob where you have a even a minor placenta previa, and if they do I would hire a doula for the birth cause in the end this is what its all about!
