Should we fess up considering the court date?

A while ago i asked what would happen to me and my friend when we threw a rock thru the window of this kid (that spit in my friend's face) house and my friend bashed all his moms lawn ornament things with a baseball bat. Well we got in some serious trouble the cops came out and everything but we didn't exactly tell our parents or the cops the truth. I'm not gonna go into detail but basically i didn't think we'd get caught in this lie because this dude is an idiot and I never thought anyone would believe him. But I messed up. I guess i must have changed the story somewhere and now my dad is starting to ask questions. I don't wan't to tell him the truth because Ill get in even worse trouble for lying but im getting scared now. We go to court in less than a week and i don't wanna go to jail. If we tell the truth now will we still get in trouble for lying to the cops?
