Will an ATX power supply fit in a fairly recent HP Desktop?

Both the pc and the power supply appear to be of standard size, the only problem I forsee is fitting the psu behind the dvd drive. in which case you may be able to move the dvd drive to a differnet bay or replace the drive with a "short" version.
