It has some pages missing and doesn't have a title on the cover of the book. Above the Preface/prelude it says Voices In The Night. Apparently it was published in 1839. I'm almost 14 and from Mississippi. Today when I got home from school I got in a fight with my mom. I have been very mouthy to her recently, and I admit I am in the wrong. I downloaded this file yesterday, and it wasn't working, so I automatically moved it to my recycle bin and cleared my recycle bin. Somehow, there's this file that has the same icon picture as the file I downloaded that appeared in my USB. There were two files actually. I deleted them, but then a few seconds later, they reappeared. i repeated this process five times, to no avail. I scanned both files with Avira Aintivir, and it says there is nothing wrong. I clicked on the file (not double-click to open it, but just single-click), and I looked at the info. It said: Attributes: Hidden. I don't know what that means. Both files are "hidden". And when I delete them, they don't even appear in my Recycle bin. I emptied my recycle bin, then tried to delete the file, and I watched, and it never went into the bin, it just reappeared on my USB. Is this a virus? The file's name is svchost, and the other one is autorun. I tried booting my computer in safe mode and scanning the whole computer using Avira Antivir, but it didn't detect any viruses. How can I delete this file off my USB?

Ok, I'm in high school, and I've been in love with my best friend (of the same age) for a long time now. And, here's the kicker: we're both guys. Our friendship has gotten closer and closer, and recently, whenever we've been watching movies or something where we're sitting together in private, I put my arm around him and he doesn't say anything. As time has gone on, I've been able to do more. I hug him sometimes, and when I would normally just have my arm around his shoulder, I do that, plus rub his back, mage his shoulders, and put my arm around his waist and squeeze him up next to me. Also, whenever we have a sleepover, he has started to sleep in and wear around for a little while before and after we go to bed, just his underwear. We also sleep on the floor in sleeping bags or blankets abut 3 inches from each other. Last time we went to a movie, I slowly stuck my hand under his shirt and rubbed his back on his bare skin. I also stuck my fingers a little down his underwear and rubbed him there. The thing is, with the exception of the hug (cause he hugs me back), he never puts his arm around me, or anything else. But he also doesn't tell me not to do any of these things. Do you think he is gay too and likes me? I always try to have an open mind when I am approached by someone about a subject and base my opinion on which ever side seems more logical, and that is the side that I go with. For example: The universe just exploded out of nothing or it had a Creator. For me the more logical answer would be it had a Creator, because how does nothing explode? And how can you state for sure which is correct for none of us was there. That's like saying that all squirrels have bushy tails, which would show that you have seen all the squirrels that ever was, ever will be, and are. Why did my kashi cinnamon harvest cereal taste like gr?

okay so I asked that question just to have a question up there, but okay so I used to be vegetarian and im now im going vegan. I went to whole foods with my mom and I got some stuff. I tried two cereals -- one was KASHI cinnamon harvest --it tasted like I was eating hay or gr. I threw the bowl straight in the garbage and then I tried my organic peanut er pows cereal.. It was like this puff ball shape and it was just disgusting. Alrite im 14 years old, and for a couple years now i have had stretchmarks all over my body.(upper arms, , knees, thighs, back, but hips) i was never overweight, or changed my weight dramitically.. i think its because i grew too quickly.. i recently have started to put on Cocoa er Formula with Vitamin E Skin Therapy Oil.. And i put on Palmers Cocoa er Lotion. I know i will not completely be able to hide stretch marks, but i want them to be less noticible at least. My friend is 15 and states she knows what love is....she’s been in it 5 times. You should fly into Oakland rather than San Francisco because it is near the Coliseum. San Francisco airport is further from Oakland although The BART does go from SFO all the way to Oakland, you change at 12th St. and take a train to the Coliseum station. However, the airport extension of the BART does not run all the time. Staying near the Coliseum is not very safe so I dont recommend that. BART covers the East Bay and San Francisco only not the whole bay area and does not run all night. The MUNI streetcar and bus system runs in San Francisco and does not go to Oakland. Oakland has the AC Transit bus system and the BART.

Someone hit my car, no insurance, do i file a police report?

someone hit my car today. he was driving on a suspended license and had no insurance. it was 100% his fault and there are skidmarks to prove that he skidded into my lane (i was going the opposite direction than him) and i also have a few witnesses. i didn't call the police because he said he would pay for the damages (and he's worried about getting arrested). i don't care about the dents, but a friend looked at my car and said it looks like he dented my axle and messed up my suspension. i'm going to get an estimate of how much it will cost to fix and if its not thousands of dollars i'm going to trust he will pay me considering he can get in a lot of trouble if he doesn't and i tell on him. is it a bad idea to not file a police report? or should i just file an insurance claim and have them (i'm insured with state farm) pay for the damages and have him reimburse them? i'm just trying to not get screwed over and have him not pay me. what should i do

I would put them in a box with some baking soda. Maybe you could put the baking soda inside of a pair of panyhose so it doesn't get everywhere. If they are kept in a closed container with the baking soda for maybe a day or two, that should absorb a lot of the smell. Kitty litter that has a baking soda ingredient might work, too. The smell should go away eventually on its own though, hopefully!

Right now...wear white socks and go around your home and pick them off and flush them...until you can get a small hold on the situation. Vacuuming daily is the best way to control fleas. Put an automatic night light in a low plug with a pie tin (or other bowl) halfway full of water and soap. The fleas will jump to the light (aka-heat in their world) and then land in the soapy water and die. I do this each time I go on a trip and it works great! Put one in each room and the light will turn on at night ( you can buy a 5 pack of these lights for about $7). Also, do a monthly treatment on your kitties. I would pay the price and get the ones from the vet. Some say to put a flea collar in your vacuum to kill any fleas but I have read that an upright vacuum cleaner will kill them as they are sucked up anyway. Vacuum corners, under beds, etc. Flea combing the cat helps a lot...not easy for the wild one. Monthly spot treatment will definitely help...Good luck!

Well I would start with prioritizing to working on what is coming next. One thing that I do is eliminate distractions. When you study turn the cell phone off, and don't bring the laptop. Create an environment where there is no other choice but to study. I would also suggest some positive self-talk, this can be done. Periodically take breaks for 5 or 10 minutes and then go hard for another 30 - 45 minutes. You can do this! you are gonna go in there and own the exams, and write solid papers and enjoy reading the novels.

Trip to Sri Lanka - Fundraising Ideas?

Have some sort of dinner in your school or some sort of cafeteria. Ask some friends and family to help you coordinate food and decorations. Try to maybe include some things that are Sri Lanka-ish! I did this for a trip to Chicago and we got a huge turnout. Also, maybe try making some sort of jewelry or keychains to sell at your school. Put up jars at local gyms and stores. Funny but serious questions about HUGE cats and MINIATURE cats!?

Okay so call me odd but I seem to have developed a love for very huge cats (Maine Coon specifically) and miniature or dwarf cats. One day when I’m financially stable (have a house) I’d like to have one of each (Maine Coon and dwarf/miniature cat) as house pets, but I’m scared that the big cat will eat the little cat lol. Okay maybe not eat, but possibly do serious bodily harm whether intentional or unintentional. See, I have this cat named Midnight that I found and raised as a stray and she hates when other cats are in our home. She does this scary threatening hissing growl thing as a warning to that cat, so that’s why I’m concerned. If a huge cat feels threatened by a dwarf or miniature cat, than the huge cat in my opinion can easily solve that problem. Another scenario, Maine Coon cats are so loving and playful and what if she wants to play with the little cat? It wouldn’t take much for such a huge cat to harm such a small cat. Any advice or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Model car paint help?

Ok so I've just finished a really nice '71 Plymouth 'Cuda model car. The body is painted a dark g pearl color in acrylic model paint. I found some high gloss clear coat that I'd like to use on the car to keep little nicks n scratches to a min ( I own 3 cats, nothing stays untouched on shelves with cats around) the only problem is the clear coat is enamel. So here's the question: can I safely use the enamel clear over an acrylic base coat without ruining the base??

PC Volume Isn't As Loud As Usual...?

Im using a computer I use in my workplace everyday with headphones like usual. Everyday I have the settings the same, so I cannot figure out why this could be happening. Anyways, I was wondering if there is software to boost the output of the volume. I know it is based on the power output by the Video Card installed and the decibel limit of the headphones. I am using different headphones today, but they are Apple iPod ear buds which I know have a way higher output than what they are giving. Any advice? Please dont tell me to check volume limits and balance... I've checked it all and am not very computer illiterate (:

Overheating problem on a 95 dodge neon?

Ok so i have a 1995 dodge neon with the sohc. I started to have a sudden overheat problem. I found a blown hose which replacing it led to a cracked water outlet which led to an upper radiator hose then a lower radiator hose and a thermostat replacement. i flushed the radiator, water flow is quick and seemingly unrestricted and everything seems to be in order except for the fact that its still overheating. so i umed it was the new thermostat sticking which i removed and its still overheating. I have no steam coming from the tailpipe and it starts easy. Could the headgasket be blown letting exhaust gas leak into the radiator? is there a way to know for sure without a compression tester?

Who can rescue two macaws?

I found 2 macaws that are neglected with scissor beak and I can't find anyone who has the authority to rescue them. I know scissor beak can be hereditary but with proper grooming it can be treated. One of the macaws can barely eat and the other one is on his way down to that level. They are currently for sale at a pet store in the Great Mall Of The Great Plains in Olathe, Kansas. The store owner doesn't seem effected by the condition of his birds. I can only answer this question as a sister of a happy adoptee. He has NEVER had any desire to locate his birth parents & has never gone to any type of adoption website. He said his birth parents' chose not to raise him (whatever the reason was) so he felt that he was raised by the people that were supposed to raise him & giving birth to a baby doesn't make you a parent - being there for your child & taking care of them on a daily basis is what makes you a parent.

What do I do when Sergeant's Pretect gets in my cat's eyes?

I've treated my young cat with Sergeant's Pretect squeeze-on flea control, but most of the stuff got on his fur rather than his skin though. It leaves an oily residue on his fur, so he's trying to clean it off. I'm afraid of what might happen if he ingests it, and he keeps trying to rub it off with his paws, but its getting around his eye area and now they are both red and watery. Will it cause blindness? I am trying to hold him still and rub it away from his eyes with a paper towel. Will the oily residue dry off? Or do I have to wash it off and waste 30 dollars?

I mean, it's not like I have no appreciation for good filmmaking, I LOVE the oscars and usually prefer dramas over comedies. Most of my favorite movies are oscar nominees/winners. I was really excited to see Milk because the trailer looked good and I thought it sounded like it had an interesting story. When I watched it, I was definitely impressed with Sean Penn within the first 3 minutes. As the story went along though, I just got bored and distracted and felt like it was all the same thing, and not too attention holding.
